How the heck did you guys meet?

It's so funny, I know that so many people want to ask this . It's obvious our age difference rises the big question HOW? I wish I could say it all started one day I was walking to my Truck , it was raining outside and I was headed home. As soon as I reached my truck I looked over to see this van sliding towards me full force ...I Didn't have enough time to even move! I closed my eyes to brace myself for the impact and say my goodbyes as it was going to be the end of my life. When all a sudden I felt him there holding me while stopping the van in its tracks only to leave it with a dent in the middle of the door... Piercing me with his golden eyes while all I could do was question how did he do that? Where do I find him? Will he be mine??? 

Only in a book right? ...Yeah Way to good to be true! Still couldn't compare to Rudy though. As much as I do like twilight and the fairytale and hotness of a vampire as a boyfriend soon to be husband, I wouldn't be able to such jealousy  lack of privacy and life threatening creatures wanting to kill me every second. Ill take a simpler life please! 
 
 So to be honest Rudy and I met a very long time ago at a wrestling show. I was like 14 or so and he was 14 +12 whatever that is ( go ahead and cringe most people do!).  Obviously at that age there was no lust for eachother . I was totally not interested in him in that way, he was WAY to old for me and I was jail bait! LOL. 
 
  Flash foreword four 1/2 years . I had Jade and just moved back in with my grandparents. I was dating here and there after leaving Jades dad. Rudy and I started talking over Yahoo messenger ( ha remember those days ) . It was July 30th 2007 He told me that he would like to take me out for dinner for my birthday.  As few of you know IM hard at taking people up on offers like that. I really prefer to treat people then be treated! So I declined and told him we should just hang out. So I went to a show with him a few weeks later! Then I started  driving to San Bernardino everynight in my Neon teal  93 Mercury sable .Oct 1 2007 we made it official. He had already put up with so much . I had Jade everynight , Her dad tried to kill us out of jealousy! I was very insecure but he stuck around... I knew he was the one... My old friend Melissa can vouge for me as in those first few months I told her " watch I am going to marry this man!" 
 
Rudy took me for whom I was never yelled , argued or disrespected me. Jade became just as important to him as I was. He helped me get over my problem with drinking and never told me what I could and couldn't do. We decided to move in together after a dispute with some of my family in Feb. 2008.  
 
After three 1/2 years three apartments two houses four dogs three cats and a partridge in a pair tree  here we are. Engaged Happy and in love. Jade wouldn't know what to do without her D and I honestly wouldn't either.  
 
The thing is and as most of my family learned dating someone well over five years ahead of you is much easier. They love like a Man does not like a boy. You build a life together it's not a give give give relationship. You already know respect and how to do so with eachother.  
 
Rudy has made my life better and that's because he is in it. I wouldn't ask for anything else. So basically I am a wilder social procrastinating woman, while Rudy is the more hobby oriented stay at home doesn't drink smoke or do drugs kinda man. Opposites really do attract. 
 
Age is just a number and all thanks to reuniting on Yahoo messenger I have figured that out and my life is a challenge due to this wedding!
